The Abrahamic Coventant

The Abrahamic Covenant - The Land Of Canaan

The Abrahamic Covenant begins with Noah’s sin after the flood. After he awoke from his drunkenness he cursed Canaan. The land that would have been Canaan’s is now given to Abraham and to his descendants. The land of the Abrahamic Covenant is emphasized often but be sure to remember that there are other parts to the covenant as well, not just the land.

Genesis 9:24 (KJV) ¶ And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.

Genesis 9:25 (KJV) And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
