The Abrahamic Covenant begins with Noah’s sin after the flood. After he awoke from his drunkenness he cursed Canaan. The land that would have been Canaan’s is now given to Abraham and to his descendants. The land of the Abrahamic Covenant is emphasized often but be sure to remember that there are other parts to the covenant as well, not just the land.
Ususally, there is a lot of truth mixed in with a little bit of lies. Sometimes there is a lot of lies mixed in with a little bit of truth. But, most of the time there is some truth in there some where. Satan is a master of making the Bible appear to say things that it doesn’t say. He decieved Eve and he used the same tactics on Jesus when he was tempting Jesus in the wilderness. Here are three lies told about what thte Bible says that I hear all the time. These lies have an element of truth to them but are still lies.
God determines what sin is, not man. God has given mankind ten commandments for us to live by. These commandments existed from eternity past, are valid now, and will exist into the eternity future. All ten of them are just as current and valid today as they were when they were given to Moses on Mount Sinai.
“I don’t understand the trinity of God.” is a common statement made by man. This lack of understanding the trinity of God is present in all people. God is greater than man can comprehend, therefore, man will never understand the trinity of God. However, just because mankind will never understand the trinity of God does not mean that God is not triune. God, who is far greater than the mind of man, has revealed to us that He is triune. Since mankind will never be able to understand it, mankind must receive it by faith.
We should always prioritize what God says but it is also important to know what did Satan say? Satan gives the same message today that he has througout time.
Tithing was not instituted when Moses received the 10 commandments on Mount Horeb. Tithing existed before Israel became a nation. It is not for the son’s of Levi only. There were other genuine priests that were not Israelites that God used and who received tithes.
